Introduction

About this app

This is an application for making beautiful photomontages. This app has the powerful feature of making the image's unneeded area transparent.

You can combine up to 11 pictures together at the same time in order to create a photomontage.

This app also has a useful feature of changing the image's color tone and making it more attractive.

By using this app, you can be a great artist !

Attention

It might be a little bit hard to make full use of this app and to make great photomontages. However, you will be able to do it by reading this tutorial and using this app several times.

Start editing

Tap the bottom "Load a photo to start" button in order to load a photo as a background and start editing.

On a phone with Android 4.4 or later, you can select image sources by tapping the top-left button.

Crop

Crop the unneeded area as much as possible and tap the top-right "Done" button.
The size of the resulting photomontage is the same as that of this background image.

Main Screen

The background image is added.
Tap the bottom "Color" button to show the color tone editor.

You can adjust several parameters by these sliders.
Tap the bottom "Close" button to hide the editor panel.

Tap the top "Add Photo" button to add a new photo.

Crop

Crop the unneeded area as much as possible and tap the top-right "Done" button.

Superimposing

Now, the new photo is added over the background photo.

You can resize, rotate and move the image by using your fingers or the magenta buttons around the image.

Tap the bottom "Cut" button in order to erase the unneeded area and make it transparent.

Eraser

By using the top "Cursor Offset" slider, you can adjust the offset between the touched point and the cursor. This feature helps you avoid hiding the editing area with your finger.

You can adjust the cursor size by using the bottom slider in "Manual" or "Repair" mode.

You can change the brightness of the background color by tapping the left-bottom "BgColor" button. This feature is useful for checking whether the image background is erased successfully or not.

Manual Mode

Tap the bottom "Manual" button. You can erase by touch. You can undo or redo by using the right-bottom buttons.

Repair Mode

Tap the bottom "Repair" button. You can repair by touch.

Zoom Mode

Tap the bottom "Zoom" button to zoom and move the image with your two fingers.

Auto Mode

Tap the bottom "Auto" mode to erase pixels with similar color automatically.

The threshold for judging similar color is adjusted with the bottom slide. This feature is useful if the background color is relatively flat. Not all of the unneeded area is erased in this image because the background is not flat. In this case, the next "Extract" mode is more useful.

Extract Mode

Tap the bottom "Extract" button. The top control panel will be shown. This mode is slightly difficult to use. Tap the "Keep" button on the top panel and mark the image area you want to keep with the blue marker by touch. The edge of the area to be kept must not be marked.

Tap the "Remove" button on the top panel and mark the image area you want to remove with the red marker by touch. The edge of the area to be removed must not be marked. The unneeded area of the image will be erased automatically. By trial and error you can use "Unselect", "Zoom", "Undo" and "Redo" buttons on the top control panel.

Tap the top "Zoom" button to zoom and check this image. The area to be kept is also erased. Let's restore it by using the blue marker again.

Now, the area is restored !

Tap one of the bottom buttons other than "Extract" in order to finish the "Extractor Mode".

Tap the "Exit Extractor Mode".

Tap the bottom "Zoom" button and zoom the image with your 2 fingers in order to check the image edge.

The arrowed area is jagged. Let's repair it by using the "Repair Mode".

Tap the bottom "Repair" button and repair the edge by touch.

Tap the top-right "Done" button and go to the "Smooth Edge" screen.

Smooth Edge

Zoom the image with 2 fingers and check the image edge, which seems to be still jagged when the bottom "None" button is selected.

Tap the bottom "+1" or "+2" button to make the image edge smoother.

Then tap the top-right "Done" button to go back to the main screen.

Superimposing

The unneeded area is now made transparent on the background photo.

You can resize, rotate and move the image by using your fingers or the magenta buttons around the image.

If you have 2 or more photos in addition to the background, you can change the order by using the left "Layer Selector" buttons.
・The left double-arrow button is for changing the order.
・You can slide the selector by swiping the right side of the Layer Selector.

Tap the bottom "Color" button to show the color editor panel.

You can adjust several parameters by these slider.
Tap the bottom "Close" button to hide the editor panel.

Save

Tap the top-right "Save" button to save.

Saving...

It will take 3〜10 seconds in order to complete saving the image, keeping the quality.
